We’ve all done it.. okay, well – maybe we haven’t.. but I have! Just recently, too. After a long day traveling from Geneva to London to Dallas to Los Angeles on the last leg, DFW to LAX, I left my laptop case filled with my MacBook Air, charger, cell phone charger and every cord that powers every device I own. Surprisingly enough, I tweeted American Airlines the moment I realized it was gone and they had located it and left it at their lost and found for me. A day later, I picked it up and my stuff came home with me.
But what happens to all of that stuff that goes unclaimed? Well the Indianapolis Airport is holding an garage airport sale of sorts and auctioning off all of the items left in their lost and found over 30 days. The airport says that they exhausted every effort to reconnect the items with their owners, but it’s time to downsize. So just in time for the holidays you can get iPads, laptops, Louis Vuitton bags, and so much more at deeply discounted prices thanks to the Indianapolis airport and those folks who left them behind. Oh yeah, there are limits to what you can find though. The airport says they won’t be selling the dentures that also still remain unclaimed.
